Though LG has been a part of smartphone market from quite a long time, but it made its presence felt with the launch of LG G2 last year. It was a phone that was accepted with quite positivity worldwide and critically also given a nod. Now, LG has revealed its successor LG G3 with 5.5 inch screen.

It has a Quad HD 2460 x 1440 screen resolution with 538ppi and a pretty good rear-facing 13MP camera with a laser autofocus system. Obviously the specifications release looks a bit early, but they were accidentally leaked by LG earlier today.

The best part is that the G3 has a very nice looking metallic design with extremely thin sloping edges and the rear-facing power and volume controls similar to the G2.

The LG G3 does not use Google’s KitKat but rather it uses its own customised UI that the company believes is easier and better to use and understand.

It comes up with a standard Snapdragon 801 chip and 2GB of RAM. It has 32GB of internal memory, with the option of expansion. It also has a removable battery of 3000mAh.

The release date and the pricing have not yet been disclosed. It will be competing with the likes of Samsung, HTC and Apple.
